Ukrainian border authorities and independent Belarusian war monitors report that a Russian regional task group has pulled out of neighboring Belarus.

In October 2022, President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus accused Ukraine of planning an attack on his nation, prompting him to announce the mobilization of a regional military coalition.

According to Ukraine’s State Border Service, “nearly all” Russian forces in Belarus had been “rotated out” as of Thursday.

Russian military were reportedly “rotated out” of Belarus by Thursday, according to Ukraine’s State Border Service.

Andrii Demchenko, a spokesman, said during a news briefing that the number of Russian forces present in Belarus does not immediately constitute a threat of an invasion into Ukraine from the north.
