Zelensky raises the stakes by declaring that Ukraine is willing to continue grain exports without Russia’s approval
Despite Moscow’s statement of the “de facto” end of the deal, Ukrainian President Zelensky confirmed that Ukraine is ready to continue grain shipments through the Black Sea. He proposed the continuance of exports in two letters to Turkish President Erdogan and United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. Zelensky believes that Ukraine, the UN, and Turkey may work together to assure the food corridor’s operation and ship inspection.
