The emergence of a trilateral partnership between Russia, China, and North Korea is creating widespread panic in the west that the imperialistic ambitions of Russia and China are starting to emerge out of the bottle, especially after Kim Jong Un’s visit to Russia.

The alleged alliance, according to western strategist analysis, could bring Putin closer to accomplishing his conquest of Ukrainian territory, while it can boost Chinese President Xi’s jipping footrace for regional dominance over Taiwan by 2049. Especially if China and Russia work simultaneously on dual-technology projects in the near future.

In addition, western analysts fear that significant North Korean military aid to Russia could prolong the conflict, increasing the financial burden of the war on the west and leading to the depletion of Ukraine’s military gear and equipment.

The trilateral eastern alliance’s hidden threat is the possibility of creating a simultaneous warfront theater that can exceed the United States’ existing defense capabilities. This is especially true when Russia takes new weaponry from the Ukrainian battlefield, which could end up being analyzed in military laboratories in both Korea and China.

What is expected is that the United States and its western allies counter-strategies against North Korean and Chinese meddling will be based on a dual strategy.

First, by imposing extra economic sanctions on North Korea and increasing global pressure on China to block the delivery of new creative artillery rounds, as well as exposing North Korea to further intelligence breaches by its South Korean opponent.

ย

Second, by taking advantage of the imbalance in Russian-Chinese relations caused by territorial conflicts Recently, China released a new map that clearly shows its desire to incorporate additional Russian territoryโ€”including the Bolshy Ussurisky/Heixiazi island on the Anur riverโ€”into China proper. Although both countries agreed to divide the island 15 years ago to end their dispute, a new map released by the Chinese Ministry of Natural Resources last week sparked much debate.
