Drone assaults on American outposts in Iraq and Syria have resulted in the injuries of more than two dozen troops. US Central Command reports that two attack drones targeted the Al-Tanf military installation in southern Syria, resulting in the injury of twenty US troops. Four further United States servicemen were hurt as a result of two drone attacks on US forces stationed at the Al-Asad camp in western Iraq. Between the 17th and the 24th of October, there were at least 13 strikes on US-led coalition forces using a variety of one-way attack drones and rockets. These attacks took place between Afghanistan and Iraq. The White House and the Pentagon have both pointed the finger at Iran as the country that is responsible for the most recent wave of attacks against American military installations. Tehran is “actively helping” these attacks, according to those who accuse Iran of supporting Hamas and Hezbollah in their conflict with Israel and say that Iran is “taking part” in these conflicts.
