November 4ย in New Yorkย According to NBC news, US and European officials have begun discussions with their Ukrainian counterparts about future peace talks with Russia and what Kiev could have to give up to reach an agreement.
According to the report, they began “quietly talking to the Ukrainian government about what possible peace negotiations with Russia may entail” to end the conflict.
“The discussions have included very basic notions of what Ukraine may need to give up in order to reach an agreement,” it stated.
According to NBC, some of the negotiations took place last month. According to the article, they indicate concerns that the conflict has reached a stalemate and about the ability to continue supplying help to Ukraine.
“Ukraine likely only has until the end of the year or shortly thereafter before more urgent conversations about peace negotiations should begin,” officials stated, according to NBC.
