The Ukrainian military intelligence agency released a tape the day after Musk voiced doubt that his country could emerge victorious from the conflict with Russia, purportedly capturing Russian forces planning to acquire Starlink equipment. Due to the lack of a comparable infrastructure in Moscow, Starlink—which is more secure than cell or radio signals—is crucial to Kyiv’s operations. Musk has disputed rumors that Moscow is buying Starlink equipment, and neither SpaceX nor the Russian Defense Ministry have commented.
