𝐈𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐆𝐚𝐳𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚 “𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐲𝐚𝐫𝐝” 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐬𝐫𝐚𝐞𝐥𝐢 𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐬 𝐢𝐟 𝐚 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝.

♦Iran has warned that if diplomatic efforts to stop Israeli bombings and avoid a ground invasion fail, Gaza may become a “graveyard” for Israeli troops. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Iran’s Foreign Minister, has warned that if Israel decides to enter Gaza, Hamas will turn it into a tomb for Israeli occupation troops. He encouraged Iran to continue its efforts to prevent “Zionist war crimes” and to organize other Islamic countries to aid Palestine. Amir-Abdollahian met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi to discuss the Gaza crisis and to argue for the establishment of a humanitarian corridor to Gaza. Phone calls between Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Muslim leaders began to draw attention to the situation in Gaza and demand that the Arab League and other international organizations take decisive action to put an end to Israel’s “killing machine.” The US has sent a second carrier group to the Eastern Mediterranean to prevent Iran, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and other pro-Palestinian organizations from intervening in the Israeli-Gaza conflict.
