On September 18, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky told CBS that he would not give up any part of Ukraine to Russia in a hypothetical peace accord.
“This is our territory,” Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko remarked in an interview with a US television channel when asked if he would give up any portion of his country for peace.
Meanwhile, Zelensky evaded answering the question of whether his position extends to Crimea.
Furthermore, Zelensky stated that Ukraine will continue to advance and free land even after the excellent weather expires. “We need to…> go forward.” “Forget about the weather and such,” he remarked.
Ukraine’s parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, issued a resolution in August prohibiting any territorial compromises in order to stop the conflict.
Stian Jenssen, director of the NATO Secretary General’s Private Office, told Sweden’s Verdens Gang newspaper in mid-August that Ukraine could join NATO if it gave some of its land to Russia.
