This is the second such fire in less than a week, and it comes at a time of heightened military escalation between the United States and Iran in the Persian Gulf.

Along with rising tensions between the United States and Israel, Iran has experienced a string of unexplained events, the most recent being a fire at a Defense Ministry-owned auto battery business outside Tehran.Images on Twitter purportedly showing heavy black smoke coming from the site quickly went viral, but no casualties were recorded. Iran frequently blames Israel for organizing attacks and other mysterious phenomena, such as explosions and fires. Tensions between Iran and the United States are at an all-time high as of late, with Iran seizing multiple oil ships in the Gulf on suspicion of smuggling.
